This is a lovely small, lidded tureen and base plate, by Limoges, made in France. The pieces have a very pretty hand painted pink rose design with forest green leaves. The edges, handles, lid, and base, are all heavily gilded. Both the tureen and the base are in perfect, pristine condition – no chips, cracks, crazing, or staining. The base has the mark, G.F.B.
