Wonderful old Victorian comport ca 1890. The stand features a plate with a leaf and berry border in shades of greens and pinks. The pedestal bottom has the same design. The rims and base have thin ecru borders, which are for the most part complete. It is in very good condition - no chips, cracks, or staining. It does have overall crazing due to its old age. There is no manufacturer's mark, but it does have the number 1557 written on the bottom. These old comports are becoming very popular in collecting and home décor.
