Beautiful small antique pitcher, ca. 1860s. It features a transferware design with hand-painted flowers. The shape is lovely, including the intricate handle. Overall it is in excellent condition for its age -- there are no chips, repairs, or crazing. Some of the ecru color is chipped from the edges, and it has a couple of VERY small flea bites. There is also a small .25'' long firing crack on the lower part of the handle that is not structurally a problem and visually is barely noticeable. The pitcher measures 5'' tall by 5'' wide, handle to spout. Purchased in southern England, this piece would look nice anywhere in your home! I accept PayPal, personal checks, and money orders.
